You can get into “Democratic Republic”, but as properly defined, the U.S. is a Constitutional Presidential Republic. READ THE CONSTITUTION!! Stop embarrassing yourself for christ’s sake. You should take the founding fathers a lot more seriously than you do, or like I said you can move your tubby ass to Greece. Don’t worry, they have McDonald’s there too.

    @TheJohnnychevelle Democracy means rule of the people. The two most common forms of democracy are direct democracy and representative democracy. In direct democracy everyone takes part in making a decision, as in a town meeting or a referendum. The other, better known form of democracy is a representative democracy. People elect representative to make decisions or laws.

Basically, you know NOTHING of the founding fathers, the Constitution or the Politics that made this country. Let me enlighten you, a democracy is a form of government where the people vote DIRECTLY, a Republic is where people vote for representatives (notice the “rep” is representatives correlates with “Republic”?).
